If you like water sports you can go to Lake Walen. It is only a
20minute drive away. There you can go diving, water skiing, canoeing,
sailing and surfing.
In winter you will find it to be great ski resort.
Enjoy the surroundings while making use of the 65km of slopes and 19km
of cross-country skiing trails. If you prefer to go sledging, you can
do so on the 3km long toboggan run, which is lighted during the night
twice a week. You can always have a snack in one of the many ski huts
and après-ski bars. The hotels offer you local specialities or you can
cook your own meal in a holiday apartment. The local culture can be
experienced not only by looking at the historical ruins that tell of
long gone by knights, but also by watching how cheese is made over the
open fire as it was a 100 years ago in the dairy. Traditional
handicrafts like the carving of masks will be done right in front of
your eyes.
