A winter holiday in Disentis is a unique
experience. Kilometre-long cross-country skiing trails run through the

You can end the evening in the comfortable hotels or cosy holiday
apartments. Skiiers and snowboarders will find a delightful ski resort
with the right slope for everyone. The half-pipe in the Obstacle Park
in Sedrun is especially popular with the snowboarders.
Disentis is a well-known family friendly holiday spot that lies at
60km from Chur. All services are available in the city centre. It has
been made very accessible for tourists with many holiday apartments
and hotels. It can be easily reached by car via the Autobahn Zurich –
San Bernadino, exit Reichenau. The road is windy, but well developed.
There is also a train station. In Disentis the mountain pass roads of
Oberalp (only to be used in summer) and Lukmanier meet; so do the
train lines of the Rhätischen and Matterhorn Gotthard railway.
