The tourist association of Arosa "warns" that spending a holiday at this beautiful place can be addictive. Due to the unique location, the pleasant climate as well as the broad ski runs without long waiting times at the ski lifts, this warning is probably justified.

Skiing and snowboarding
The predominantly easy to moderately severe ski runs spread over the whole area with altogether ca. 60 kilometres of well prepared downhill slopes. Lots of space is guaranteed beneath the Hörnli, Weisshorn and Brüggerhorn particularly above the timberline, so that you can enjoy skiing without crowed slopes and long waiting times at the lifts. But also real professionals will meet their challenges.

The FIS (International Ski Federation) racing course starting from the summit station Weisshorn is deep black and on the Brüggerhorn you can prove your skiing skills in deep powder snow.

Snowboard specials
The area around Brüggerhorn is a popular address with snowboarders. In the proximity of the middle station, next to the mountain restaurant Sit-Hütte, there is a funpark with halfpipe and also the deep snow and freeride areas at the Brüggerhorn are particularly attractive.

Cross-country skiing
On approximately 25 km of cross-country ski runs you can enjoy the impressive mountain panorama around Arosa. The cross-country ski runs are mainly quite challenging, but also beginners find appropriate possibilities.
