 Wolkenstein lies at 1563m above sea level at the foot of the imposing
Sella mountains and the Langkofel. In Wolkenstein you will find

Wolkenstein is among the most renowned places in the Alpine region and
is popular both with winter athletes and mountain enthusiasts.
 Winter sportsmen find the region ideal, because one can ski right to
ones doorstep. 175km of slopes offer the right run for everyone. On
the different slopes beginners, families and pros will enjoy
themselves thoroughly. A romantic sleigh ride through the snowy
landscape is worth your while. The Langen Valley offers cross-country
skiers an ideal backdrop. The 12km of trails are very well kept. After

 Hiking and mountaineering are popular activities during the summer
time. Paragliding, mountain biking, golf, miniature golf, squash and
tennis are other activities to be done. The Montiggler Lakes are among
