Nesselwang is a spa in the southern part of East Allgäu. The family and brewery village Nesselwang in the Allgu lies at the foot of the Alpspitze (1575m) and the Edelsberg (1629m). You will find a great hiking area in the surroundings of Nesselwang. You can take the chair lift to reach 1500m in altitude and start a great hike from there.

The marvellous mountain panorama will enchant you. Not only the little ones enjoy the summer sledging run of 1000m in length, but the whole family. Nesselwang is also a popular holiday destination in winter. There are plenty of winter sports to be done here. The Nesselwang ski resort offers slopes of different levels of difficulty for skiers and snowboarders. The nicely done ski-country for children is great for the whole family. Corss-country skiing is especially nice as the trails are well kept and lead through great snow-covered surroundings.

The food in Nesselwang is also very nice. You should definitely try the „Kässpatzen“ (a special pasta with melted cheese) as they are freshly made.
