Hinterzarten is the home of the Olympic gold medal winners Georg Thoma
and Dieter Thoma. There are a lot of activities – social, outdoor and
cultural – on offer here. You will find 100km of hiking trails in the
summer, on which to enjoy the beautiful scenery. In winter, 80km of
cross-country skiing trails are at your disposal. The ski lifts take
you up the mountain to the various slopes (5km). The area is ideal for
learning to ski in one of the excellent schools. The Adler jump, where
many competitions have been held, is located Hinterzarten.
Many outdoor activities are on offer in Hinterzarten. There are tennis
and miniature golf courts. You can also rent a bike or play boccie.
Spoil yourself in the restaurants, there is something for every taste.
