Val Thorens, at 2300m above sea level, is one of the
highest ski locations in Europe.
Thus, snow conditions are perfect
from October until May. Val Thorens forms part of the ski resort “Les
Trois Vallées”, which offers a total of 600km of slopes.
The best
place for après ski is the quaint bar LE MONDE with its large sundeck.
At night there are numerous restaurants, bars and discos to have fun
in. |
The village is far-flung and the typical architecture of the big
buildings pleasant. There are plenty of shops, boutiques and malls to
browse through. If you want a change or some relaxation, you can go to
the sports centre for tennis and squash or relax in the sauna and
jacousie of the public bath.
During the summer you can spend lovely holidays here
and make use of the hiking trails. There is plenty of accommodation
available. Choose between simple and luxurious hotels, rent a holiday
house or a holiday apartment in Val Thorens.
