Megève lies at 1113m above sea level in the French
province of Haute-Savoie. It is only a 70km drive from the airport of
Genève-Cointrine. When driving into Megève you see a charming Savoyan
village. The mountains on either side of the valley are great for
hiking and skiing. However, three of the mountains for skiing are not
completely linked. It may be necessary to take the bus from one resort
to another.
Yet the slopes in the various resorts are excellent.
Snowboarders will also enjoy them a lot. The area is great for hikers,
lovers of nature and people in search of recreation. There are
numerous sports and cultural events on offer. Mengève is a village
with a lot of charm and elegance. The scenery is always spectacular
not only because Mont Blanc can be seen in the background.
