 The
ski resort is divided into three parts. The lifts that can be taken
directly from the village are for beginners.
More experienced skiers
will find suitable slopes higher up, which can be reached by further
lifts. Thanks to having access to the glacier Pic Blanc, Alpe d’Huez
is a first class ski resort. Even if the snow has already melted in
the valley, deep snow skiing is still possible here.
The large ski
resort is made accessible through many lifts, railways and slopes.
Long waits or crowded slopes are, therefore, quite rare. On the
southern plateau at the foot of the moutain range lies the national
park of Oisans. Here you will find a beautiful landscape.
 During the summer
months you can go hiking on kilometres of trails or take the teleferic
to go mountaineering. Enjoy the beautiful mountain summer and stay in
a comfortable holiday house in Alpe d’Huez or one of the many other
accommodations.
