Valley at a holiday apartment or hotel
Holiday apartments -

South of Innsbruck lies the Stubai Valley – known as one of the best
winter sports regions of Austria. Here you find many luxury hotels,
highbrow holiday apartments and small chalets. The five typical
Tyrolean villages of Schönberg, Mieders, Telfes, Fulpmes and Neustift
lie in the middle of a romantic winter landscape. They form one of the
most beautiful holidays regions of Austria - the Stubai Valley.
Here you can immerse into an almost untouched nature. In winter you
can discover the marvellous, deeply snow-covered landscape. During a
romantic winter hike or sleigh ride you can enjoy the beauty of one of
the most beautiful alpine valleys. Experience the Stubai Valley at
your holiday from its most wonderful side and let get spoiled at the
hotels and restaurants. A holiday house is ideal for families and also
holiday apartments offer a lot of space at your holiday in the Stubai
Valley.
But also in summer you can spend a wonderful time with us. In May the
meadows are juicy and multicoloured. After the middle of June you can
admire the beautiful alpine roses and gentians. In autumn nature gives
way to a multicoloured variety and you have marvellous views. Whether
in summer or winter, enjoy the beautiful Stubai Valley. Each season
brings its own beauty to the area. At comfortably furnished hotels or
holiday apartments as well as at a beautiful holiday house you can
spend a fantastic holiday.
At the end of the Stubai Valley starting from the lower terminus
Mutterberg you reach by gondola cableways at the Stubai Glacier. Here
the skiing enthusiast can engage in his hobby also in summer. The
cableways of the Stubai Glacier carry you up to 3,333 m - ideal
downhill runs also in summer.
If you don’t like to go skiing and rather prefer to take a quiet
sunbath, set off along the Stubai Glacier Trail. An incomparable route
leads along a secured snow path from the mountain station Eisgrat
(2,900 m) to the Jochdohle, the highest situated restaurant of Austria
(3,150 m). The trail is also suitable for families. The walking time
is about 1 hour.
Who still likes it more alpine can also go about the via ferrata
Fernau. Thereto you take the gondola cableway to the central station
Fernau. Near the Dresdner Hut you find the access to the via ferrata,
which is recommended, however, only for experienced climber.
A further beautiful viewpoint is the "Kleine Isidor". You can
reach the 3,200 m high summit in about 20 minutes starting from the
Jochdohle.
Hikers not yet sure-footed and neither knowing the way around the
place get offered here in this region during summer guided glacier
tours as well as climbing tours with experienced alpine guides.
