 From the middle of September to the beginning of June you can go
skiing on the Pitztal Glacier in
Tyrol. Throughout the whole year the hotels,
holiday apartments and chalets offer overnight accommodations.
Additionally to the glacier ski resort also the Rifflsee skiing area
in the Innerpitztal is at your disposal. In the cold season you can go
for comfortable walks in the Pitz Valley. In Arlz you find 25 km of
groomed winter hiking trails, in Wenns there are 15 km, 12 km in
Jerzens and in St. Leonhard about 21 km.
 Hikes in summer have their very individual attraction. While hiking in
idyllic nature, you can enjoy the impressing scenery of the Alps. In
three hiking regions you can reach the summits by mountain railways.
Overnight accommodation is possible at the hotels, holiday apartments
and chalets, which are available in different price categories.
By mountain bike you can cycle along the 42 kilometres uniformly
signposted cycle path through the entire valley as far as Mittelberg.
This route leads you on beautiful scenic trails and has a medium
degree of difficulty.
A mountain bike route at the Hochzeiger is connected to this route.
Here you cycle on a beautiful trail up to over 1.000 m above sea
level.
So you can enjoy the fantastic view over the entire Pitz Valley until
far in the Inn valley as well as in the neighbouring valleys of the
Tyrolean Oberland.
Staying overnight is possible at one of the numerous hotels or
guesthouses. Also cosy holiday apartments or a beautiful holiday house
in the Pitz Valley invite you to stay.
