 The place of Längenfeld lies at an altitude of 1,200 m
above sea level in the beautiful Ötz Valley
in Tyrol on a wonderful
valley lowland. Each year numerous holidaymakers come to Längenfeld
where they find many hotels, holiday apartments and chalets. Despite
the large tourism industry Längefeld remained an idyllic place.
Längenfeld is an ideal starting point for marvellous hikes. The
network of trails is well developed and offers for both the simple
wanderer as well as the ambitious mountaineer the right thing. For
bicyclists and mountain bikers there are attractive tracks to discover
the beauty of this wonderful area.
 Climbing enthusiasts can be pleased
about two impressive via ferratas, the Rheinhard-Schiestl Klettersteig
and the Jubiläums-Steig. Enjoy a sunbath on the terraces at the
mountain huts. In the evening you can strengthen yourselves in the
hotels and restaurants. At the holiday apartments and chalets or a
holiday house spend a quiet evening.
Längenfeld is the ideal place for cross-country skiers. Especially the
panorama cross-country ski runs on 1,200 m altitude are gigantic. Also
the slope offers for skiers and snowboarders are huge. In all degrees
of difficulty and well groomed you find kilometre long ski runs.
Paradisiacal is Längenfeld also for tobogganing enthusiasts, because
several toboggan runs surely give no rise to boredom. On the ice-rinks
you find best possibilities for ice-skating and curling.
