 Gerlos is beautifully located 1,246 m above sea level
in the middle of the Zillertal Arena. This small place, framed by
forest and mountains, offers various accommodations in the form of

In winter Gerlos is wonderfully suited for skiing holidays. Gerlos has
two ski mountains, the "Fürstalm" and the "Isskogel". A great many of
varied slopes are to be found in the large skiing region of the
Zillertal Arena. There is also a large number of cross-country ski
tracks. Furthermore you find everywhere wonderful hiking trails and
toboggan runs. Or how about curling? In Gerlos you can rent holiday
apartments or chalets, stay overnight at one of the hotels and become
acquainted with the beautiful region.
In summer you can explore the wonderful Zillertal along 200 km
signposted hiking trails. The easy hiking trails are to be found down
in the valley, but also at high altitude you can undertake beautiful
walks. Of course also the demanding mountain climber finds something
at the hiking programme. Mountain bikers find here best conditions.
Someone who always wanted to go hang-gliding will take his chance.
In Gerlos there is a large number of shops, restaurants, hotels and
bars. In the evening surely no boredom arises and someone who prefer
it quiet can retire to the holiday apartments and chalets. Also a
