Arlberg: The skiing areas on the Arlberg
St. Anton - St. Christoph - Stuben - Lech – Zürs

Lech and Zürs - skiing area
The skiing area of Lech and Zürs on the Arlberg

The skiing area of the Arlberg on the Vorarlberg side captivates by its international flair and exclusive skiing pleasure - on the fantastic slopes amidst a unique landscape as well as off the ski runs in the first-class hotels, restaurants and bars.

In Lech there are numerous luxury hotels, but also simpler accommodations can easily be found here, since the village has still kept its original charm. Zürs, which lies at the Flexenpass, however, has rather the character of a pure hotel village.

Skiing and snowboarding
The skiing areas of both places are connected, so that altogether 110 kilometres of slopes are available. Very popular are the large circular courses through the entire skiing area, which can be varied at will and are also possible with different starting and arrival points. A further highlight in Lech and Zürs are the many unprepared ski routes and the excellent deep snow slopes. A special challenge surely represents the Madloch ski route. But also "normal" skiers and snowboarders, from the beginner to the pleasure skier through to families will feel comfortable amidst this unique mountain scenery.

Snowboard specials
The snowpark Lech located at the Schlegelkopf chairlift, attracts with its “Easy Park” also beginners as well as less courageous boarders. In many parts of the skiing area you find a large choice of deep snow downhill runs with many variants.

Cross-country skiing
The network of cross-country ski runs is rather modest compared to the alpine offer. 15 km of ski runs are available around Lech. However, the cross-country run leading from there into the Zug Valley and further on to the hamlet of Älpele is scenically particularly beautiful. In Zürs there is only a short circuit.
