apartments and holiday houses

Garda, Riva, Malcesine, Limone
Lake
Garda covers an area of approximately 370 km². With a length of 51 km
and a width of up to 17 km Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy.
Numerous holiday houses, holiday apartments and hotels offer always
the desired accommodation to the holidaymaker. The lake, formed
through the melting of the Etsch Glacier, offers a varied and
breath-taking landscape. Lake Garda is situated approximately 65 m
above sea level between the Alps and the Po Valley. The northern part
of the lake lies in the region of Trentino-South Tyrol, the eastern
part in Veneto and the western part in Lombardy.
Due to the location the area around Lake Garda has a sub-Mediterranean
climate. The mildest climate you find on the southwest shore of the
lake.
A thermal wind provides for an almost permanent air movement in the
afternoon. For this reason the northern part of Lake Garda between
Torbole and Malcesine is a popular holiday destination for surfers.
Furthermore you find large wine–growing areas in the northern regions.

interest.
Beautiful holiday apartments, holiday houses and hotels create the
pleasant framework for your holiday stay on Lake Garda.
Who already is spending his holiday on Lake Garda should not miss out
on making some excursions in the surroundings.
From Malcesine a cable car leads you up on the "local mountain", the
Monte Baldo. Wonderful hikes or mountain bike tours are on offer. But

off at a mountain hut, this trip is worth making.

Almost already a must is the trip to Verona. The imposing Arena of
Verona is well known, especially because of the Opera Festivals taking
place there. The powerful Castelvecchio lies directly on the river
Etsch and accommodates today an important art museum. Beautiful houses
are arranged around the Piazza delle Erbe, the medieval marketplace,
and only a few steps away, stands the house of Julia with the probably
most famous balcony in all of literature.

Only few kilometres far away from the southwest end of the lake lies
Brescia. The landmark of the city is the fortress, which towers at the
top of the castle hill in the midst of a wonderful park.
